Members have found the fish feeding at Saunders Gravel pit despite the dropping temperatures, with several carp being recorded. Jack Dobinson fished the first pit and landed a common of 12lb 5oz, a 5lb 2oz bream and a fully scaled mirror of 10lb 12oz. The same angler also landed a 13lb 5oz common from Point Field earlier in the week. Steve Bridger also managed a common of around 10lb from Saunders.
The reservoirs at Harold Rd continue to produce decent mixed bags of carp, roach and other silvers, there have also been some large crucians caught.
